A well-known brand is not a guarantee of success 

A checkered company history often leaves sustainable perception problems in its wake. Following several changes in ownership, the German sanitary specialist, Franke Aquarotter was absorbed by the globally active Swiss company, Franke Gruppe. Today, Franke 'Washroom Systems' is a world leading provider of intelligent washroom solutions to the public and commercial sector. 

All of their products have been labelled under the 'Franke' brand in Germany since 2007. The chequered company background of the last few years coupled with several name changes meant it was important to establish Franke as a brand in the sanitary sector on a long-term basis. 

Peter Bütikofer & Company helped to position Franke as a high-quality supplier of water technology system solutions in Germany. The strategy was aimed at the target group of architects and decision makers in the planning phases of construction projects. A lot of emphasis was placed on client testimonials from projects that were implemented by Franke. Today, they are used for interactive communication with architects on the web, at trade fairs and in project reports for architecture and building magazines.
